From The Artist:
When I was a child, I learned to paint by watching my father paint. My father is now 95 years old and still paints every day. A career as a Nursing Administrator and raising 3 kids got in the way of my painting for many years. I would paint a picture maybe every other year. Then, I retired and moved to Downtown Wilmington and everything changed. Now I can’t stop painting and I am loving every minute of it. I have always done oil on canvas, but have recently begun painting with watercolors. I enjoy doing both and can’t wait for you to see my paintings at the American Craft Walk Wilmington.
